One place to search for new construction in East Nashville is Creative Way Village. The new brownstones come in two- and three-bedroom designs, additionally offering a garage and multiple levels of living space. Cleveland Park

The newly redeveloped Cleveland Park community recently welcomed new townhomes itself. Some of the new construction units offer garages and rooftop decks. Newly released data from the Greater Nashville Realtors shows the number of home sales and also the median sales price increased in March despite the on-going COVID-19 crisis. 

In all, the Nashville area recorded 3,346 closing across the nine county region, a jump of about 3.4% compared to March 2019. Furthermore, the median sales price for a single-family home jumped up by $25,000 to $300,000 compared to last year, which was a welcoming sign given the circumstances. 

As for looking ahead, April’s numbers should provide a more accurate picture of how the market has changed during the outbreak, and early numbers are, not surprisingly, showing a slight decline.

The firm predicts Nashville will be one of the larger cities in the nation to continue to see rent growth and investment over the next year. According to its figures, net migration to the city this year will likely be between 10,000 to 30,000 people.

According to a recent report from the Nashville Post, Building Ideas, also a Nashville-based firm, is behind the project’s sleek design, and Jackson Builders will of course handle the build-out. 

As of now, the North Nashville townhome project doesn’t have a vanity name, but it is mentioned that prices will likely hover around $2.5 million.

According to new data from Greater Nashville Realtors, home sales in the Nashville area last month jumped 9.4 percent compared to November 2018. 

In all, this past November saw 3,232 closings, which was up from 2,954 closings during November of last year. 

The increase is especially encouraging given single-family home prices are also up in addition to sales. Also according to Greater Nashville Realtors,  the median price for a single-family home in November was up from $295,000 last year to $322,500 this year. Condo prices were also up from $221,900 to $242,900.
